1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Finito ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including beta testers and early access participants.

2. Description of Service

Finito is a financial management platform designed to help individuals and businesses track spending, manage budgets, monitor cash flow, and gain financial insights. The Service aggregates financial data from third-party sources you authorize and presents it in a unified dashboard.

Finito is a financial management tool only. We are not a bank, investment advisor, financial advisor, or licensed financial institution. Nothing on Finito constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

3. Third-Party Integrations

Finito connects to your financial accounts through Plaid, a secure third-party data aggregation service, as well as other authorized API integrations. By using Finito, you authorize us to access your financial data through these services on your behalf.

We never see or store your bank login credentials. All bank authentication is handled directly by Plaid and other third-party providers. Finito only receives read-only transaction and balance data that you explicitly authorize. You can revoke this access at any time through your connections settings.

Your use of third-party services is also governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We encourage you to review Plaid's privacy policy at plaid.com/legal.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without written permission

6. Data Accuracy

Finito displays data sourced from third-party financial institutions and APIs. While we strive to present accurate information, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of data received from external sources. Always verify important financial decisions against your official bank and financial institution records.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finito and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or reliance on information provided by the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
